PERSONAL CAREER MANAGEMENT "Career Express" Level I Level One Personal Career Management is offered, free-of-charge, to all Julie Nation Academy Students and Graduates year-round. All students are trained in posture, walking and etiquette skills. Students and Graduates can perform in our special events at the malls, parades, and fairs, as well as other selected community events. Participation in our events offer excellent opportunities for models to demonstrate their skills, as well as singers to perform a song of their choice, and actors can perform a TV commercial or a short monologue. Special talents, such as comedy or dancing can be included. In addition, specific free graduate workshops are offered to refresh student's skills, as well as modestly priced continuing education seminars. These are available by checking our Special Events Page on our website, www.julienation.com. Look for the program you graduated from! |

Please note: Guest speakers from the entertainment industry and speakers on Self-Confidence and Leadership are also on this Special Events page. These events are either free to our students and graduates, or offered at a reduced fee. Community events are also included in the Academy's Special Events page. Also, in addition to the above, Personal Development Students & Graduates are eligible to be represented by Julie Nation Academy for any public relations work, such as working in Conventions and Fair Booths. Level II Level Two Personal Career Management is provided for students and graduates of Julie Nation Academy in the Professional Modeling, TV and Film Acting, Performance Singing, Advanced Fashion Runway, and Children's Modeling & TV Programs. Qualified, by training or experience, models and talent from out-of-area & state are also able to be served on our website. In addition to the services in Level One, website "Level Two" participants are referred for paid work we receive through local and national employers, agents and casting directors, who contact Julie Nation's with work coming into Northern California or other areas nationally. Level Two Personal Management means we need "Career Building Tools" to send out to job contacts. The items need for your file, currently maintained at all time, is as follows: All Ages: · Successfully completed training(s) of your choice, or currently enrolled in training(s). · Resume(s) · Face Shot Photo and Full-Length Photo in portfolio book, and 5 copies of each photo given to Julie Nation's for your file or Zed cards or Composites. (photos can be emailed in jpeg form, image size 200x300 pixels to julienation@julienation.com) · E-Mail address given to Julie Nation's, as this is the mean of notifying model talent of promotion and work opportunities. In addition it is recommended to obtain a professional email address. Note: no cute email address. · Model's Zed cards or Actors composites are recommended and can be ordered through Julie Nation Academy. All Under 18: · Entertainment Work Permit, you give us five copies. These permit applications are obtainable at your local Labor State Commission Board. Beginning January 2, 2006, our web page, "Career Express" service will be available to display one photo of your choice and a short "bio" Which includes: *Date of Birth, *Height, *Eye Color, *Hair Color and *Area of Skills/Training. Notices will be sent by Julie Nation to California and out-of-state agents and casting directors, as well as 50 top employers and advertising agencies, to review our models and talent on our website for their hiring purposes. On the 1st of each month new Career Express registrants' names will be sent to our Agents' and available Employers list, which is titled "New Models & Talent" at Julie Nation's. These individuals will call Julie Nation's for your contact information. ***UPDATE*** Career Express clients can "NOW" apply for Julie Nation's Personal Management Services CALL 707-575-8585 NOW! to arrange your Image Evaluation & Orientation, and jump start your career! *Note: Employers who hire you will pay you direct; Julie Nation's does not take a fee as we are not licensed agents. |
