Ashley L: Ashley has been busy! She just completed many projects, including a 4 star movie called "Lower Learning", a Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana Disney Movie, and a scene in an Adam Sandler movie! She also is working with Usher and Jay-Z's producer to creat a song that she will be singing and recording for iTunes! She is also featured in a national Chevron commercial. Congratulations Ashley, keep up the great success!

He can currently be seen on snapfish.com's homepage (Valentine's Day 2012), and has done many shoots during the past few months for Gymboree. Great work!

Christa Lumry first came to Julie Nation when she was only 8 years old. A quiet child, who often thought of herself as unattractive, unsure of herself, and completely unaware of any special talents that she possessed. Under the nurturing guidance of Julie Nation and her staff, the inner beauty, and a very healthy self esteem started to grow within this child. 'It was like watching a blossom unfold into a beautiful flower,' says her parents, Scott and Deborah Lumry.

Under Julie's articulate guidance Christa developed confidence enough to participate in one of Julie Nation's Showcases, in front of many well known National Talent Agencies. Christa was selected for 'call backs' from 4 major talent agencies, and made the decision to sign on with Marla Dell in San Francisco. Christa went on to do print, runway, fit modeling, television, and radio commercials. (The Gap, Mervyn's, Macys, etc.) Not only did she excel in a modeling career, she won two California State School Speech Meets, and a first place in State Science fairs.

In her early teen years, she joined an acting company that performed in public schools. In one years time she had given public speeches to over 24,000 students in age groups ranging from middle schools up to University College age students. Her speeches were on the topic of morals, encouraging students to be true to their selves, and resisting peer pressure - When Christa was only 13 years old she entered college, and graduated from Arizona University at the age of 18 years old. -

Christa now 27 years old has taught Autistic children. Owns a business. And travels the world.

There is so much more to Julie Nation's classes than her class titles imply. Students do not simply learn how to be a model or actor. Julie teaches her students that beauty, and talent FIRST comes from within one's self. Julie didn't change young Christa's appearance, she brought out her flamboyant personality, and it was that personality, (not so much her looks) that caused the talent agents to select her.

Cynthia Wright: Has been with our Academy for five years where she has done several Barbie Promotions and local work as well as being signed with Hmm... Agency in San Jose where she is now preparing for upcoming work. She also filmed a movie with American Eagle Productions!

Mike Maddington: Placed in our Showcase and has just signed with Industry San Francisco, where he has gone on several auditions. He also did an International Hair Show with Industry San Francisco.

Felicia Calvania: Went through our Showcase and was cast to be in a Levi's print ad the Monday after the Showcase! She is now signed with Boom San Francisco.

Kristen Armstrong: Placed in our Showcase, where she was discovered and signed with Hmm... Agency in San Jose, and has redone photos and Zeds and is on her way. She is working with Industry San Francisco and auditioned for Macy's Passport and got the job!

Alana Joy: Placed in two of our Showcases. She signed with Generations and Panda Agency where she is now auditioning weekly.
