The Julie Nation team is so excited to have kicked off the new year with a wonderfully successful trip to the International Modeling & Talent Association (IMTA) convention in Los Angeles during the first week of January.
Academy Director Harasyn took a group of 5 models and actors to LA for a week packed with master class workshops, inspiring guest speakers, various modeling and acting competitions, and callback interviews with agents and casting directors actively scouting for new talent. Over 300 agents attended this event, which has helped launch the careers of celebrities including Katie Holmes, Elijah Wood, and Ashton Kutcher, to name just a few.
A highlight of the week was the red carpet awards gala, where the girls got to meet Elias Harger, who plays Max on the Netflix series "Fuller House" and who was also discovered at IMTA!

And a big congratulations to Julie Nation graduate Brian Easter, who attended IMTA with his agency IMD and received 2nd runner-up for Theatrical Headshots in his division!
But what we are most excited about is the potential for modeling and acting representation developing from the many exciting callbacks our participants received! Agents from all over the world including San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, London, Japan, Thailand, and more expressed interest in our models and actors, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for them!
